The Craft
Every piece begins as a handcrafted small-scale model in paper or wood. This hands-on approach allows me to engage directly with each design, exploring ideas and refining its structure and proportions until it feels just right.
My small-scale jewelry designs are then finalized and cast in silver or brass or produced using advanced 3D printing techniques in steel. Some pieces remain in their pure metal forms, while others are oxidized and polished by hand to enhance texture and depth.
Couture pieces blend modern technology with traditional craftsmanship. Each polygonal component is designed in CAD and 3D printed in durable nylon, allowing me to work at a very fine scale and produce material as needed. After hand-finishing each component, I assemble the pieces using stainless steel hardware, ensuring both precision and durability.
One-of-a-kind pieces remain in their original handmade form, crafted from paper, wood, PVC, and other materials. Every cut, fold, and joint is executed with precision, emphasizing the raw beauty of structure and material. These singular works exist as pure expressions of form, offering a direct connection to the craftsmanship behind them.
I source all materials from the United States, Europe, and the UK. Each piece is designed and made by me in Jersey City, NJ, with casting done in New York and 3D printing in Belgium.
